The Elements
In this series I seek to open up a visual debate about conceptual and psychological imagery. By using the digital medium, I am attempting to capture fleeting thoughts, an attractive sensibility where the seemingly dim and blurry image can conjure up a latent memory or a chaotic dark suspended thought. It is a modern day conversation within myself, looking at the blurry territory of capturing images and attempting to salvage a deliberate and magical mistake.
I gather these gems of unlearned seeings from my car window as I drive back and forth from dropping off and picking up my son Mosijah from school. For me it is simply a different way to continue to take images and a new language I am learning to speak. In this voice, I am hoping to make everything in the frame as important, and as unimportant at the same time.
